watch your mouth when outdoors
Today, I saw this guy ranting about the Bible and God at the bottom of the Columbia steps. He had a pretty big crowd standing around watching him. I didn’t stay to listen. I had to meet someone in front of Butler Library. Three minutes after I had passed by, it starts pouring like crazy. Everyone outside had to run for cover. The crowd quickly dispersed.
I wish I had stuck around and listened to him. I wonder what he was saying.

I think I have driven away nearly half my suitemates already. I guess that in close quarters, my sort of abrasive humor can get quite irritating. My endless teasing can get quite old. I’m rather pissed at myself for being so un-charming.

Today’s assigned reading: the Navajo Code Talkers’ Dictionary. In case you were unawares, America recruited Navajo Indians as code-talkers because the Japanese kept breaking our codes. They were invaluable. The code was never broken.
