Michael Moore talks: “Let’s mourn, let’s grieve, and when it’s appropriate let’s examine our contribution to the unsafe world we live in.”

Did Nostradamus Really Predict New York Attack?. No, he did not.

A site that is “dedicated to presenting those graphics created to explain the terrorist act against the United States on Sept. 11, 2001.”

A blogger with a digital camera caught it all. And he shares his story with everyone.

Who would ever think that we would live in these days, where the simple half-finished question “Did you know anyone…..?” could be so sad.

I am fine. I am ok.

I should be safe up here in columbia.

watch your mouth when outdoors

Today, I saw this guy ranting about the Bible and God at the bottom of the Columbia steps. He had a pretty big crowd standing around watching him. I didn’t stay to listen. I had to meet someone in front of Butler Library. Three minutes after I had passed by, it starts pouring like crazy. Everyone outside had to run for cover. The crowd quickly dispersed.

I wish I had stuck around and listened to him. I wonder what he was saying.

blast from the past

Bay Dog and Draft 19 a match made in Heaven: “He just told us one day that he was cool and we pretty much believed him. That’s the only reason why he’s in the band”.

abrasive

I think I have driven away nearly half my suitemates already. I guess that in close quarters, my sort of abrasive humor can get quite irritating. My endless teasing can get quite old. I’m rather pissed at myself for being so un-charming.

I’m an asshole.

free-falling

Do you like jumping out of airplanes? Do you like being naked? Now you can combine the two! my favorite part is this video <via this guy>

Don’t ask. I’ll deny everything.

Rats feed.

Bats bleed.

Eat yourself to death.

Lose the manual, never get control again.

Know the world; no! the world.

Against ables. again? stables!

play the word ’till it ‘comes the world

as simple as adding an L.

no, that was wrong. It’s always wrong.

I don’t understand anything. I’m always wrong. What the fuck is going on?

Those would be good song lyrics.

Watch Dashboard Confessional.

Today’s assigned reading: the Navajo Code Talkers’ Dictionary. In case you were unawares, America recruited Navajo Indians as code-talkers because the Japanese kept breaking our codes. They were invaluable. The code was never broken.
