Meat Flies

This past week, my office has been infested with swarms of flies. In order to survive, I slowly learned how to stalk and kill flies quickly and efficiently. My technique is unparalleled. The other day I killed 7 flies.

But they kept coming. We had some exterminator come in and take a look. This is where I learned the most disgusting term I have ever heard. He took one glance and announced that we had “meat flies”. He said that they were too big to be “vegetable flies” in that ours were most likely being born from dead animal carcasses nearby.

Mm. Tasty.

President Bush in review

Here is your Times reading for the week:

Bush vs. the Laureates: How Science Became a Partisan Issue – How President Bush and his administration treats science

Will We Need a New ‘All the President’s Men’? – How President Bush and his adminstration treats journalists, scrutiny, and criticism

Without a Doubt – This is the thesis of a lifetime.

Put all three together, they all carry a similar theme. I definitely have more to say… God, the election is coming so soon.

Working

I’m working on it… working on it. There is a new blog being made. I’m slowly migrating over there and making it feel like home.

First Post

Well, what do we have here? A new web space? I am glad to be off Columbia servers– those restrictive convents of a web host– and in a place where I can hack and flak my way to happiness.

This new system also allows me to use comments.. so let me see… where’s the button for that… I think it’s around here somewhere. Oh right, here it is. plink.
